Switch from Sandbox to Production
Use this guide only if you already have our Power BI apps installed in your Sandbox and you now want to switch to Production.
Fresh installation instead? If you do not have the apps installed in Sandbox, skip this page and follow the step‑by‑step installation guide here: https://businesscentralinsights.com/install
Step 1: Install the Connector app in Production
Install the Power BI Insights Connector app in your Production Business Central environment:

If the Connector is already installed in Production, you can proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Send us your Customer ID (and selected apps)
We’ll activate licenses for your tenant once you share your Customer ID and confirm which apps you’ll proceed with.

Please include:
Customer ID (from the link above)
Which apps you’re going forward with (so we can prepare the invoice)
Refer to our pricelist to determine if a Standard or Premium tier subscription is required: https://businesscentralinsights.com/pricing
Email these details to support@eknowtion.com
After we activate your licenses, you’ll be fully set for Production refreshes and scheduled refresh.
To enable immediate dataset refresh, you can activate a free trial. Trials ensure you can refresh data right away while licenses are being activated.

Step 3: Point your Power BI apps to the Production environment
If the Power BI apps are already installed in your tenant, all you need to do now is update the Environment parameter to point to Production and refresh the apps.
Need to install the apps first? If you don’t yet have the apps in your tenant, follow this step to install:
