Item Attributes Setup

1. In Dynamics 365 Business Central open the Power BI Insights Connector App.

2. Select Setup per Company > Item Attributes Setup. 

3. Configure using up to 16 pre-selected Text Item attributes, and two Date Item Attributes. 

Note: Please notice that the Item Attributes Setup is company specific. You have to set item attributes for each company separately.

Analyze Item Attributes

In the Business Central Insights apps, you will now have the ability to filter your data by the Text Item attributes and Date Item Attributes. 

The selected item attributes will be de-normalised and available.

You will find all 16 item attributes in the Filters pane on the right side of the reports. 

You will also find them as rows in any of the tables or reports, or as rows and columns in the cubes within our Power BI apps.
